Choosing a Charter Senior Living community means working with and developing relationships with experienced professionals in senior care who strive to improve the quality of life for residents and their families each day.
Our senior living services set us apart from other care facilities because we provide a true sense of community and personalization to older adults with specific needs and wants. In fact – we don’t even refer to ourselves as a “facility.” The warmth and intimate relationships cultivated and nurtured among residents, staff, leadership and families create a homelike neighborhood in Gallatin you won’t find anywhere else.
We specialize in one important care level and lifestyle – Assisted Living. Whatever you seek from senior living for yourself or a loved one, know that when you step foot into a Charter Senior Living community, you’ll be welcomed with open arms, treated like family, and feel comfortable in a place where you’ll find the best Assisted Living services.
Our philosophy is simple: Do the right thing for residents, whatever it takes. Our entire organization is dedicated to making sure that every person who calls Charter Senior Living of Gallatin home will live their absolute best life, every single day.

Stephanie Harville – Executive Director
Stephanie is a hometown girl and graduated from Gallatin High School in 1989. She is also a graduate of Western Kentucky University, having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in healthcare administration. After college, she began her health care career with Life Care Centers of America, a Tennessee-based skilled and long-term nursing home chain. Stephanie has been the Executive Director of Charter Senior Living of Gallatin since 2005. Under her leadership, the community has received state, national and industry recognition for resident and associate satisfaction, volunteerism, fundraising and employee retention. Stephanie is married to her high school sweetheart, Richie. They have two adult sons, both of whom are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force. Stephanie’s hobbies include scrapbooking, reading, fundraising and especially spending time with her rescued mix-breed dog, Ruby.
Trish Adcock – Sales and Marketing Director
Trish began working with seniors when she was in elementary school after her family moved from a small farm town to a larger city and, coincidentally, right behind a skilled nursing home. She considers it her first safe space and recalls it’s where she made her first friends. Today, Trish has more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing and has even assisted in opening two senior living communities, rebranding and promotion. She has filled occupancy at different communities in record time, and was named Sales and Marketer of the Year in 2018 by Morning Pointe of Franklin. She is most proud of creating and promoting programs such as Memory Warriors, Spring Hill Veterans Breakfast, and Spring Hill Health Providers Monthly Luncheon. Trish’s love for seniors has even been passed down to her kids, who now work with seniors as well.
Paula Simmons, LPN – Health and Wellness Director
Originally from Parsons, Tennessee, Paula has lived in Gallatin since 1997. She has been a nurse since then and has a wide range of skills including homecare, labor & delivery, skilled nursing, end-of-life, CPR instruction and of course, long term care. She joined the Charter team in 2010 and quickly moved into a position of leadership. She is certified as an assisted living nurse manager and was instrumental in leading our center to JDPower Certification in 2019. Paula is known for her fashionable eyeglasses which are different every day! She is also known for her creativity and for her calm, caring expertise as an end-of-life doula.
Paula is married and has 3 adult children. She is also a “Nini” to 2 toddler grandchildren whom she is raising along with her Shih tzu puppy, Elvis. For fun, Paula enjoys ballroom dancing. Paula loves to travel with her very favorite destination being Key West, Florida.
Sammy – Community Dog
Sammy joined our Charter family in May of 2015 when it was suspected he was 15 months old. He was adopted from the rescue group, Dogingham Palace, who had recently saved Sam as well as 2 dozen other dogs from a high kill shelter in Texas. His rescuers labeled him as a Corgi / Pomeranian mix, but his veterinarian suspects that he also may have some Chihuahua in him, too. He is a very sweet but sedentary boy and loves to sit & snuggle with almost anyone. He is not food motivated, which has made it especially challenging to teach him any tricks, sadly. But, he is an excellent greeter and brings joy to everyone he encounters. He takes his job very seriously and has attended many community events as a Charter Ambassador. He likes babies and kids and especially loves belly rubs.
